Government obtains confidence, but Malta needs clear decisions

The Nationalist Government won the vote of confidence. Yet the fact remains that clear decisions need to be taken on various issues effecting people's quality of life, social justice, environmental protection, civil rights, party financing, electoral reform and legal reform, among others. Before the 2008 elections, the Nationalist Party made various promises which were unkept.

At the same time, Alternattiva Demokratika - The Green Party believes that primadonna posing and opportunistic manouvering on petty issues are uncalled for in a context of global economic, social and environmental crisis.
