Alternattiva Demokratika - The Green Party has published its report on its general election result.
The report can be read here.
AD's decision to publish the report is very positive and augurs well for required changes within the party.
On a personal note, I must express my satisfaction that my feedback regarding AD's result was taken into consideration. Recent blogs such as those below express my position.
Long March of the new Left

AD shoud look ahead
I also must express satisfaction that for the first time ever, AD has publicly acknowledged the 'strained relations' between Harry Vassallo and myself.
In the meantime, I look forward to the election of a new Chairperson for the Greens.
I augur that AD's new chairperson is charismatic, consistent, positive, realistic, democratic, organised, fair, analytical and inclusive.
I augur that through its new leadership, AD moves to the left by also embracing areas such as social policy and issues such as work and cost of living, yet also by tackling issues such as immigration and security in a more realistic fashion.
I augur that AD abandons certain positions and campaigns - such as the rent law campaign - which alienated activists and supporters and also resulted in tension and fear amongst low-income earners who live in such properties. AD should also do away with impossible electoral expectations which only result in lack of credibility and disillusionment amongst members.
I augur that AD becomes a more inclusive party, forging durable alliances with civil society organisations, NGOs and leftist parties and organisations. AD's strategy should be realistic yet forward looking - a long march.
